***The Official Battlefield 4 Thread***

Is this game as buggy as its been hyped? I quite fancy it as I usually buy COD annually but this year opted out as it is always the same!

Tried BF3 but never gave it much of a chance but loved BF2 and 1942 way back when!

If only the Xbox digital version wasn't so expensive I'd accidentally buy it straight out :(
 
It is buggy but it's still brilliant. I was a BF2 and 1942 player many years ago on PC but gravitated to COD on the 360 as mates started playing that.

Now with the Xbox One I've decided to give BF4 a try after hearing mates say BF3 was great. IMO it's excellent and I haven't bothered to even unwrap Ghosts!

I love COD 4 and MW2 and played them to death, but for me BF4 is a real step forward.

Cheers :) does sound fun, one thing is a guy at work plays a lot with his old mates, and says he could t stand the idea of playing online, but solo, which is what I would be doing, would that detract from the fun being on my own as I first go in?

A Microsoft digital purchase is really tempting just for the no disk usage!

True, but no disk swapping is a beautiful thing!

I have a new Xbox one on the way anyways as my fan was making a strange noise, tried to bum a free Bf4 code off MS but they said we only do that for people with drive issues :(
 
how do you kill with the defib? are you supposed to use it on the enemies arse or something?

anyone having issues with multi talent assignment? i have unlocked the tar but i never saw it unlock in the gameplay screen and i never saw the badge you get unlock, the gun is available but after every match the assignment still shows up, ive done it a few times now but cant get rid of the assignment
 
You're supposed to use the defib on your dead team mates :p

I've had a couple of weapons that I've unlocked but can't select despite the progress bar showing more xp than is needed.

Also the animation for reloading sometimes doesn't work which is annoying.
 
Just me who can't get on Battlefield Multiplayer on Xbox One?

Seems to just chuck me back saying You have lost the connection to the session.
 
Does anyone know if you can fly the attack helicopters back to base and re-arm faster, like you could do with the gunships in Battlefield 2142?

I haven't tried but will next time I find myself in one, just wondering if anyone knows already :)

You'll barely get out your own base anyway as you are a sitting duck flying a rusty old bake bean tin.
 
I've had one game on this on the PS4. I was rubber banding all over the place and the sound kept cutting out. I think I'll stick to KZ til it's fixed. EA should worry more about releasing a stable game than they do about beating COD to the market.
 
Last hour it's took me about 40 attempts to connect to a game and had around 4/5 crashes to the dashboard.

Until now I have been quite lucky without many problems but it's highly frustrating when I want a few games before bed time due to work tomorrow!

Anyone bought premium for this through the PS store? Son grabbed it,card was charged but didn`t show as purchased,called support who say it`s tagged on his account but it keeps telling him to purchase, not download it.
