Looks like she has a great chance, and there are some nice vocals on her track, save the chavvy pronunciation.

I'd far prefer this to be number one as opposed to many of the previous Christmans #1s that have gone before, however it's not a patch on the original Keane version, imo. Though that could be the 'what I heard first' factor kicking in.

I quite like it and I quite like a lot of her songs.

Christmas #1 is meaningless now though.

Decent song, although a few tones in it sound duff. X-factor winner next weekend, song released on the Monday, no doubt Christmas no.1 :(

Shes done some good tunes but this isnt one of them,
i do like her but she sounds tone deaf at points in this.

Jesus I just looked up some of her other songs and this one seems like it was only yesterday but was uploaded to YT in 2008. That's 5 years ago!!!! Where on earth does time go?

EDIT: Hmm, just found a sweary in the lyrics so removing the link. Anyway, it was The Fear.

While it's not my sort of music she has completely destroyed that song.
Her songs normally suit her singing style whereas in this she sounds flat and at times tone deaf.

If it keeps X-Factor from the number one spot then I'll be happy.

The ad it came from is the best Christmas one for a while:

Shame that it can't be number one. :)

INdeed, I loved her debut album, then singles like "The fear" etc and I like this in places but as stated a few notes or parts of the song sound bad.

Last decent xmas no.1 (apart from RATM) was that cover of Mad World. The problem with the charts I think is the demographic that purchases single songs, would be interesting to find out the percentage of girls, say 15-25 who make up the purchases.

It's a really good cover and while I don't think it's better than the origional I think it's different enough to be good in it's own right. It certainly has more of a festive feel to it.

Sadly good or not it won't be beating the x-factor it's out far to early for that and frankly nothing has a chance against the x-factor the RATM protest year was a one off and this year it's fo charity just to make extra sure.
