Hi,
Im tryind OC my GPU, but im limitted with MHz and vCore on ASUS GPU Tweak.

How I can go for higher vcore and MHz on my GPU?

Unfortunately not working to me. I installed latest version of MSI afterburner (beta) and its still locked.

you need a program called ati winflash and the bios, you can get both of these from techpowerup.com

there is a guy on here called Rob his user name is 233 - he very kindly emailed my all the stuff I needed including the bios but I cant find the email now. Maybe you could send him a message in trust im sure he would be happy to help.

HOWEVER IM NOT 100% SURE IF THIS IS THE BIOS I USED IT IS FOR THE 7970 MATRIX non platinum version.

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THIS WITH THE COMMUNITY I WONT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU BREAK YOUR CARD.

How's your card going nick?

My top is sitting quite happy at 1300/1750 albeit even with the direct cu II cooler it's still doing its best impression of a jet fighter when I ramp it up
Adjusted the fan profile to keep it under 70 at full chat
 
Flashing your card is scary but it can pay off big time (never bricked a card doing this). My advice to you is research, double check, tripple check and go slow.

Dude i sold it on the MM and bought two 780Ti lmao but it was sweet to use for the short while i had it :D
 
I have the same question regarding my amd hd 7970,I can't increase voltage??I'm using msi afterburner 2.3.1. Did amd locked this card later in production cycle?
Bios flash is the only option for me??
asic on the card is 82,9%
So far on stock voltage I got 1000mhz core and 1500mhz memory.Passed test in Sleeping Dogs on highest preset.Can I consider this stable then?
