What a cool thing to do! Sure, the cynics would say it's all a marketing ploy to pull in more business, but I'd happily spend my money flying with people that do it regardless. Christ, I don't think you'd find RyanAir doing that!

They're a great airline, used them a couple of times while I was in Canada, going to Niagara Falls and back again. Great service, ridiculously attractive flight attendants and they all seem very happy and have a sense of humor too.

Very clever advertising campaign that demonstrates that giving is better than receiving, the cost of the presents will be tiny in comparison to the value of how much coverage they will get. Still nice to see peoples reactions though, and the sock guy, lol.

OCUK could do something similar................

They are brilliant for a cheap airline, just wish they would a transatlantic service from here to Canada. I usually fly with them whenever im in Canada and i cant fault their service. They make BA, AC and other other major airlines look positively amateurish by comparison.

Thats the one thing i miss about Canada, they truly do believe in the art of customer service compared to snooty England
