Need to move on from the AK, what are decent alternates given the MSBS nerf?

The festive gun camo is cool, tempted to buy the wolf with the odd few pounds hanging around on my XBL account!

Does anyone else play better solo when compared to playing with a party? It's almost as if I have the availability to actually get the kills, without my (decently skilled) friends pinching them all :p
 
I tend to find I have more kills to go for when playing solo, playing with a good team just spreads out the kills.

My replacement console is at home so I will be up for some BF4/Ghosts tonight.

And Snipers aren't OP?

I tend to use the Remington but that's sod all good against a sniper that can kill you in one bullet even if you've hit them with a load of bullets.
That's all irrelevant anyway beacuse:
1) I haven't played this for a while as I've been playing on BF4
2) I play HC in this game so most guns kill with one bullet anyway.

Actually in this game I get way more hit markers with the snipers than I ever did in blops 2 - the dsr in that was insta kill, even to the balls.

Also, there must be way more people sniping on Xbox than ps3 because you seem to be killed constantly by snipers.

And even more so in this game, if you miss with a sniper or get a hit marker, you're pretty much dead.
 
It's funny how weapons are fine one year, but in the next game they're suddenly overpowered. They aren't overpowered, it's just that the CoD "community" are a bunch of cry babies who don't like to be killed by certain weapons and they won't be happy until the game is nothing but quick scoping and SMG morons jumping around corners.

If a weapon was over powered there would be no competing against it, but no "OP" is just a term that ****ing morons like to throw around because they dislike being killed by something.
 
This game has drove me insane tonight, I've always loved Hardcore but my god everybody plays in such a boring way...lets find a rock/wall/hut and lean around around the corner and never move!
Think I will move to BF4 when I pick up one of the new consoles.

I don't think I've heard you mention that before, but that seems to be HC imo it's either that or griefers on your own team as the main frustrations. Late night always seems to degenerate into things you never see earlier on.
