Would you be incarcerated for ten years if you could earn £100,000 per year afterwards?

10 years at £100k is only £1m. I'm sure I could find a way to earn that in 10 years that was more enjoyable and without the downsides.

At what point in these rules does it say you can't earn money outside by not going in?

By not going in you don't automatically lose the ability to earn money, but by doing so you have made a choice. If you make the choice to go inside, and earn a financial reward, you sacrifice ten years for material gain.

So many double negatives!!

It also doesn't say you can't earn money outside, while inside :p

If the rules were tweaked slightly so that during those 10 years, the equivalent of a £100,000 salary was being paid into my bank account, to be increased to £200,000 p/a upon release (with no obligation to actually work for it), then sign me up, absolutely.

Not as my age.

But I would do a year for a £10k lifetime annuity. Oh and upping the female contact to 20 times a month.

I'd do it for 10 years of peace and quiet.

3 musical instruments.. Access Virus Ti. Akai S6000 sampler and a large modular synth..

Can I swap the PC for an Atari st and cubase ?

this all depends on where you are in life,

if you are struggling every day with money issues then i can see you def would
if you are on a good wack and are happy why would you

it would be a tough call for me, but just thinking what i could do with that money.. i would probably have a very exciting life - ten years,

if i look back at the last 10 years i wouldnt miss much

i think i just might, but it wouldnt take a massive change in my life position now to say no

Make it 75K per year after and i'll do it as long as I get to spend the whole time with the female of choice.

Oh, you better make sure there are plenty of supplies. Yes, those supplies. ;)

I'd do it purely for the second last one :D

Would the 6 figure job at the end be something you can't wait to do every day or would it be just another job?

Depends what i got the 100k a year for? A job or free money? If job how good is it.. Id probably do this only being 20 tbh i would like to spend my time in a prison sometimes anyhow to escape life this would be perfect. I wouldn't use the tv and id learn to code using the pc and id use the gym as much as possible with the gourmet food option and clean for self as i wouldn't want to be lazy. Shame about 20 times for the woman tbh but coming out at 30 a high paying job with a chance of by 35 you could be quite rich have a nice car and some decent friends/family u would be alright

Not a chance, I am gradually working towards that salary as it is.

TBH, anyone with half a brain could go to university, get a good degree and get 50K starting salary in London based IB or north sea O&G engineer.

I am struggling with money issues. I don't earn a lot, and don't see myself earning much more any time soon, while having a lot of debts and some major expenses coming up.

I still can't fathom any way that this could possibly seem like a remotely sensible thing for anyone to even contemplate.
