Radeon 270 and Radeon 270x are exactly the same card. Just slightly higher factory clock on the 270x... but across the board both cards overclock to the same.

Nope...they are NOT the same (particularly on the power usage). The 270 is a single PCI-E 6pin card, whereas the 270X is a two PCI-E 6pin card. The 270 traded off the overclockability for the sake of fitting in the 150W TDP envelope and has more restricted power available to play with overclocking.
