Tonight, i was very upset to see a girl who lives next door posting up this on her facebook feed. I've often said the stuff she posts on FB is just inviting the childish uneducated bullying that goes on in school. Sadly her mum doesnt seem to be none the wiser.

So hey, here's hoping. The more we can spread this link perhaps it might be the wake up call someone needs

how is that childish, i've seen worse from people younger than her, that if anything raises awareness, it atleast had me listening.

Just today i have seen photos of 15 year olds getting carry outs from the local winemark, posts of "Need drinking plans for the weekend" and every sunday without fail theer are photos from people, again 15,16 and 17 at nightclubs, or just generally drunk or acting a **** in the street, of course drinking isnt really childish but underage drinking is stupid.

That video is far from chidish, if it had been duck faces, or those stupid "like for a Like" things, i would agree but its not, its about ****ing suicide

Bullying can never be condoned, however there are also many people with ridiculously fragile personalities.

I was bullied as a child but I was also taught the sticks and stones mentality. The problem is one man's bullying is another man's "banter". No one 'thinks' they are a bully, in their mind they are just 'having a laugh' which again doesn't not for one minute excuse their behaviour but it isn't as clear cut as 'evil person knowingly drives other to suicide' as it's often made out.

So what if they're underage? If they're not doing any harm to either themselves or people around them they why shouldn't they be allowed a drink? I think it's hard to impose a 'legal limit' on drinking when a lot of people who are old enough to drink behave like total idiots.

but its the same as being childish sort of, its fine to drink underage, like i have had a drink underage, but i wasnt hanging about some street acting an idiot. Its ok to do it, its impossible to enforce it upon everyone but i dont need to see the 200 photos of you and your mates drunk. Plus posting "need drinking plans" comon now that is childish

I get the impression from your post that you have no idea what it feels like to "actually" be bullied.

Every child is teased at some point and most are able to deal with that, actual bullying is something else entirely.

I agree street corners isn't cool in the slightest. However I wouldn't say that age has anything to do with how people behave when they're drunk. I've seen some right states.

In your original post it sounded like you were around the same age as them and slightly jealous that they're out having fun whilst you play on your computer :p

Why is it so hard to understand that people react in different ways to situations?

I was beaten weekly by the local ASBO kid and his cronies for almost a year (until I told my mum and she went round and had a few words with his mum). A year or two later I was harassed, intimidated and slapped around by the hardest girl in school (that's right a girl, but one with 'older brothers' which was her trump card if you ever dared to stick up for yourself) for months until I broke and slapped her as hard as I could back which led to a school investigation.

Please don't tell me I don't know what it's like.

Why do you have these people on your facebook?

well, i am the same age, 17, but im not jealous, what is fun about standing in a nightclub, getting drunk and having to stagger home and explain to your parents what happened and then spend sunday with a migraine, or hanging about a street corner with a 2 leet of tesco value cider in trackies with your 12 year old mates looking like spanners. I prefer to sit in front of my pc, talking to my mates drinking my Nice, ice cold, non-alcohol pepsi max :D:D:D

Apparently when these videos started becoming popular a few of them were found out to be fake.

From then on I've viewed them all with a fistful of salt.

Thats pretty rough, i know a friend of mine who got constantly joked about all day, nothing too bad but enough to irritate him. He kept getting more annoyed and the jokes got worse until they did the Bangkok joke and he ended up in hospital to have an operation to put some important jewels back in their rightful m place.

it takes something to happen, like you hitting her for the school to take notice and do something
