New Acer PC downgrade to W7 UFEI issues

Various UFEI options in the bios

what ever i set it only ever gives me windows boot manager as a boot option.. so will not boot from CD

on a screen called authentication i've tried secure boot disabled, custom, ive cleared oem keys, booting with it set in user or setup move..

do I really have to throw this PC away or is there some trick / bios upgrade that will allow it to install windows 7?

As well as disabling Secure Boot, try setting CSM (or a variation of it) to disabled too.

LOL, no probs, I'll cope.

Just to correct myself for future reference, you need to set CSM to enabled of course, not disabled.
