New rented neighbours next door and for the last 72 hours there is this yapping dog outside 24/7 constantly. And I mean 24/7. Wife said been yapping all day,

I got up at 6am and was yapping, wife said was all day and since I have been home at 6pm till now 9:45pm still yapping. Sometimes we get 10 mins of quiet, but one noise such as a door or a car and off it goes again.

It is right next to my step daughters bedroom too making it worse.

What would you do after 3 days of this

Me considering the following

1. Drop anonymous note through door warning of 2 and 3
2. Call RSPCA
3. Call Council
4. Let my German Shepherd have a play. (So bad now he not even barking back when I let him out for a ****)

Anyone experience of the above, does it actually work

Speak to them first and just let them know its disturbing you, don't threaten them about rspca or council straight away. If they act like an arse when you speak to them then go ahead eith 2 or 3

Anonymous passive aggressive note gets my vote. NEVER speak to people in a reasonable manner to achieve an amicable outcome when you can use a note instead.

:D

Was more after peoples experiences of the above options :)

Look at it as a free burglar alarm.

I have my own furry razor blade (GSD) as an alarm. Even he is getting annoyed and stressed with the constant yapping.

Worst still, I can't see it from my window to give it an air rifle pellet in the nads to shut it up. :(

Last time we had a prob with a cat getting in the house (before the GSD) I caught and bagged it and dumped it 30 miles away. Should have seen little girls face for the next few weeks across the street :)

Our neighbours new dog did that for about 2 weeks til it settled in - was pretty annoying and that was with them trying to keep it from disturbing people as much as possible.

these ****** are leaving the dog outside 24/7. Worst still not a proper bark, just constant yapping, not even seen the rat yet, just heard it.

The only way to deal with a yappy dog is to bark back at it. If you do this enough you will **** the dog off enough to make the owner realise that it is really annoying.
