Improving motor Torque Fuel consumption?

It would appear that I have improved my vehicles torque/ fuel consumption by rapping aluminium cooking foil around the HT leads from the coil to the plugs. Thus creating a "Faraday Cage" (Many cars today have individual coils on top of the plugs)
Or is this an illusion?

I heard if you empty a bag of builders sand into the intake you gain 300BHP from the head port and polish.

I've done this, but only gained 200BHP so a bit of a waste of time.

Yes it is. You have discovered the placebo effect.

Screening the HT leads might help if you had a radio interference problem caused by radiated emissions but what made you think this will improve economy and performance? Did you see a review of "Nology Hotwires" by any chance?

As well as the foil wrapped HT leads, sand intake mod and the magnetic fuel miracle clip I also added one of these intake superchargers...

I now achieve an extra 600BHP on average and my MPG has gone to a really decent 68mpg. All these mods are simply amazing!

Ah no, I used beach sand and no water. I'll try again this weekend and see if I can get the extra 100BHP on top.

also consider that adding water will increase the compression ratio, which can only make it more efficient
