Ah no, I used beach sand and no water. I'll try again this weekend and see if I can get the extra 100BHP on top.

I believe the correct process is to start with sharp sand to get the initial port, then move to progressively finer grades to get a good polish. Chinchilla dust as a final treatment is ideal for that mirror shine.
