Dell P2414H vs U2414 ultra thin bezel - Same monitor really?

ohh, good spot, it is a very similar price! (Well, not on that link but in shops)
Might just have to go for this myself, had been planning on getting the P one.
Looked at some reviews, they say 'probably the same panel'
Edit: I say reviews, they haven't actually seen the screen yet though... :(

Personally thinking about it, I'd probably still go for the original with the bigger bezel. Might prove a nicer image with a proper black bezel around it, rather than 6mm and then a white wall behind...

I am looking at this exact thing today as well! I think I'm heading towards the P2414, but haven't quite decided yet.

Check out the reviews of each. The new ultrasharp had taken the lead over the professional. There are differences between the 2 although the pannel is near on the same. (Gamut might be different, higher on the ultra). Ultra has USB3 and no DVI compared to the Pro with USB2 and DVI.
I got 3 of the Ultrashap's purely for the bezels. Cracking monitor.

OMG! So the U2414H has no DVI? Wow!

Oh :) Plenty of DVI - HDMI cables!

God knows what the KVM switch would make of that!

That's interesting though! If it was seemless, a 16:10 monitor I'm looking at supports 16:9 ONLY over HDMI, not DVI. So if the KVM could connect from DVI to HDMI and not be upset... that could be perfect potentially?!
