    Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. God damned loved instagib, when you know people are going to cry about dying constantly instagib just makes it soo much funnier.


Also yes, I'm pretty saddened to see so many people not get this thread, I feel old... and I'm not damned old.....
 
Not much has changed on that front dm, people still have a hard time deciding if someone is having a good round or hacking and they usually plump for the latter

I find those that moan about "bunny hopping" in todays titles quite funny, you could near jump half way across a map in ut/quake :D

Instagib from shot mode 1 flak cannon always the best for getting tears :D

The early days of DoD were great, so many exploits and you could go prone / get back up instantly, no sniper limits, no spawn protection, beach maps were the source of so many tears. :D
 
This thread makes me want to go and find my Quake 3 / UT3 disks. Although I was always a CS guy at heart. TDM can be so frustrating when you're just being spawn raped to death.

I'm surprised by how many people in here don't know about 1337 in here though. Next thing you know, they'll say that they don't know what lol, pmsl or pmsrofl is. Or they can't tell the difference between when some h4x0r has pwned them and someone with 5|<1llz has carried out some r4P3493 on them.

My partner's son constantly plays on his XBox360, lazy ***** is 27 and still living with us, and frequently can get over 20:1 on CoD.

I can get 8:1 or higher on BF3 with plenty of revives :D and then I'll often get a 0.8:1 because I suck. I'd be happy enough with 2:1 KDR(kill to death ratio ;)) because my average is 1.28:1.

Ut3 is dead, fired it up a month or two back, only around 2 active servers :(

The thing is with console shooters....aim assist to compensate for not using a mouse, saying that I'm sure someone recently pitted some of the worlds top console fps players armed with controllers against some random pc players with kb&m, guess who won, convincingly ;)

It is harder to get a good k/d in some of the latest titles as everythings slower.

I chucked him on the PC playing CS:Source, which he'd never played before, for an evening and CoD:MW2 which he'd had on the XBox, after an evening getting used to the mouse and KB he was really hammering everyone. He did much better than I ever do :)
