My theory is that TUL Corp called it that to shift their X chip 290Ps. Sort of a wink wink nudge nudge thing...

AB lets you undervolt by -100mv. Lower than that I haven't heard of a way.

One thing i will say is VTX had a 7970X card so i think it might just be the way they do things.
 
The only thing better than that price on the 290 is the Duchy's mince pie I've just eaten. Sorry Gibbo - you can't beat that I'm afraid.

I had ordered 2x290 MSI R290 reference cards sunday night though to be fair. Woke up this morning, saw the offer and asked if i could swap them over which he said was fine. #respect

Indeed you got lucky with the timing, good bunch/cs on here as well!

Might have to use my GFs+mums card and pay them back..:D
 
Matt i would go with the vtx3d, if it unlocks to an x bonus and if not you have a 290 with x clocks and unlocked voltage, i bought a pre flashed one a few weeks back and its been fine

I have done mate. Got two coming my way. Makes me wonder though if they will unlock, why ocuk have not unlocked them and sold them with a mark up like they did before?
