Picked this up last Thursday, wanted one for years so decided id get one now before I have kids! Its a 1999 UK Model, 74k miles, loads and loads of history, running stage 2 Horsham spec so around 280-300hp. Real quick car and clean to back it up! What you guys think? :D

Like it a lot, quite hard to find tasteful, clean ones nowadays. How much did you spend? 280 should be thoroughly entertaining in an s14a

That's how you should have an S14a. Mostly standard on the outside, with a lovely set of wheels, a small spoiler, some choice engine mods for a bit of extra power.

I'd keep it exactly as it is, and please, whatever you do, don't ruin it by drifting.

must have been from the same run as my last one. :)

Mine was stage 2a, agree that around 300bhp is a happy medium, around 330bhp on a GT28RS and after that you are increasing lag to get more power, which is a compromise.

Ruin it? You mean have fun in it?

Both have AJO registrations, they must be brothers

Making a car drift, or oversteer etc isnt going to ruin it, in the same way as speed doesnt kill. Its the abrupt stop you have to be weary of

Bloody lovely mate :) only thing I'd change would be to paint the front lower splitter black, front end just looks a bit fussy all in red.

Was thinking of swapping the turbo out to the GT2871R.. Aim is around 360hp to be honest.. Mind you its pretty lethal in the wet now!

Do those have any forms of AIDS at all?

Nah im white... (I jokes)

No traction control on it, does have ABS.. so meh :p

I paid £4200 for it.. bit steeper than some, but its very clean, loads of history (every MOT etc) so didn't mind paying for one which wasn't rotten
