M&S have dropped a clanger

So if a Christian refuses to work sundays (as what's allowed in this M&S policy) and then still eats pork / takes usury / gets drunk often - would you expect them to quit their job also? - thought not!

Don't get me wrong - I agree that it's hypocrisy, just pointing out that the same level of hypocrisy investigation/theories should be applied to all faiths and its not right to single out the Islamic faith only. We're all quick to be critical of Islam, what about the other religions...... :p

Apples and Oranges.

The health laws of the old testament don't really apply to Christians and haven't for more than a thousand years, so it's pretty irrelevant whether they eat pork or not. Islamic views on usury are still practised though, which is why there are special Islamic banks.

IF a Christian claimed they followed the bible literally, then yes, I'd consider it to be the same and expect them to quit their job.

Some Catholics also still practise the same views as muslims on Usury. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usury

And your statement about the old testament 'not really applying' to Christians regarding pork is debatable:

Christianity is the biggest sham of them all. The Christians seem to be the least disciplined and least understanding of their religion than all other groups. Try praying 5 times a day, doing the haj, or fasting for a month.

Sounds like time I'd never get back and serious lack of om nom, screw that! :D

lol 'Islamophobia' the only irrational fear in here is the numpty woman who didn't even want to pick up and scan some alcohol...

Sometimes peoples' religious habits do make me laugh. We had an outage on site and had a telco tech attend site. Halfway through troubleshooting, he said "I have to go and pray" and disappeared for a while.

I was left not knowing what to think or say! It's quite funny looking back at it now. Reslted in a longer time to repair, though!

Seems a bit convenient that they can get into heaven so easily while other religions have to work so hard no?

If there's no heaven, it'd be a hell of a lot of wasted effort. Can you blame them? :p

I'll carry on living my life by the simple rule of "don't be a ****". Any God that exists and doesn't think that's enough is sadistic tbh.

I don't get the uproar over this?

The assistant was polite and the shopper was served by another assistant.

So... who cares?

Surely the other religions ain't getting in?

Islam superceded Christianity which is itself a false religion which plagiarised judaism. It has no merit from God. People who were non Jews and people who were Jews but didn't want to be picked on a Jewish prophet and spun their own non legit religion from there.

Jesus didn't say he was here to end judaism and re place it. That's what man did and corrupted the religion to create a much simpler one they thought they could get all the benefits from without paying any price for In terms of dedication and worship.

Eh?

Which one has the real Heaven then?

Given that at face value none of the books are outright provable and that we must believe in each one and in turn it's own word, then the Koran says it is the literal word of God and has superceded all before and that muhammad was the last, then Islam has the highest provenance and must be considered true. And correct.
