And where do they get the money to pay their rent from ? Us, Royals are not needed and the old tourism argument is void so don't bother defending them.

We make a lot of money from the queen. I'd like to keep the monarchy for cultural reasons, but even if I didn't I wouldn't be willing to pay extra taxes to replace them with some more politicians who'd cost more and do less.

If we replaced the monarchy with some more politicians right now, it wouldn't make England any more or less of a democracy.
