I have a Corsair H100 on my PC with 4 x Corsair SP120 fans attached on either side in push-pull configuration.

The fans are running perfectly fine, whether they are plugged in to the cooler itself or directly into the motherboard so I know there are no issues with them. I'd hope not anyway as they're less than 24 hours old :p

However, my idle CPU temperature is around 60 degrees, which suggests to me the pump isn't running and therefore the water isn't shifting the heat. Under load it rocketed up to 100 degrees before shutting down.

Firstly, is there any way I can test the pump to be 100% sure? With all my previous coolers I've heard a sort of gargle type noise when turning them on as the water gets moving, but this is totally silent.

Secondly, has anybody encountered a similar issue and any fixes that I can try before requesting RMA?

Cheers

Put your hand to the pump, it should vibrate a little bit. Check that the power is connected, and try another plug.

If that doesn't help, and it does not vibrate at all it's broken. Just RMA it.

If it vibrates, you might have installed it wrong and it's a bad mount. Remount it :)

It's been working perfectly fine previously though - no change to the mount has been made today. There is no vibration at all, it's totally still.

I've just done an express RMA with Corsair for £50 so should have a new one in a matter of days.

Unlucky wndzr, hopefully you'll get the replacement soon
Personally in vary wary of theese aio units, hence i prefer a big dual tower heatsink. Nothing to go wrong.

I've done Express RMA so they say it will be sent out within 1 day (which I'm guessing will be Friday for delivery Monday)

No Battlefield for me. :(

The rad should be warm, so looks like the pump is goosed.

I was quite lucky and got it for less than £50 in the recent OcUK bargain bucket and thankfully it is within the 90 days.

Still pretty annoying though, I got n00bz to kill!
