I have a Corsair H100 on my PC with 4 x Corsair SP120 fans attached on either side in push-pull configuration.
The fans are running perfectly fine, whether they are plugged in to the cooler itself or directly into the motherboard so I know there are no issues with them. I'd hope not anyway as they're less than 24 hours old
However, my idle CPU temperature is around 60 degrees, which suggests to me the pump isn't running and therefore the water isn't shifting the heat. Under load it rocketed up to 100 degrees before shutting down.
Firstly, is there any way I can test the pump to be 100% sure? With all my previous coolers I've heard a sort of gargle type noise when turning them on as the water gets moving, but this is totally silent.
Secondly, has anybody encountered a similar issue and any fixes that I can try before requesting RMA?
Cheers
