Calorie Intake Today

Pretty much. I follow a strict calorie controlled, measured diet...even on Christmas. If anything it's under that as I over estimate where I don't have exact figures...1250 is my daily maximum.

Plus 1,250 is silly low, sports forum going to roast you about that!
 
Just with veg, yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes on my plate there was no room for meat, stuffing, sausage meat, pigs in blankets and leek and cheese. Destroyed the veg and had plenty of the rest. So full. Was glorious.

Not for me it isn't, specific medical issue means that it is required, earlier in the year it was as low as 800kcals, gradually increased over about 6 months, the highest it will be is 1800kcals, but can't manage that yet...I would struggle to eat more than that in a healthy, protein leaning diet anyway.
 
4000+ today, had a fruit feast. Christmas calories is everyday for me. It's great eating as much as you want and not having to worry about heart disease promoting sat fat and cholesterol. :)
 
Well, no chocolates, mince pies or Christmas pudding consumed by me today. However did eat soup, turkey roast dinner, cheesecake, cheese & biscuits and then a few hours later prawns, ham and various dips/buffet bits. Makes me feel hungry again thinking about it now...

Same here. Boxing day is my pig out day. Stuck in front of the telly watching football and horse racing whilst consuming copious amounts of all kinds of rubbish.

Eating too much fruit can be bad for you...

I'd guess I've eaten somewhere between 2 - 4k on Christmas day... I've been working hard lately so a day or two wont hurt. :P
 
Had a nice Christmas in Sweden eating all the foods they call christmasy
I miss "meat and 2 veg" or "3 meats and 7 veg" as it would have been if i was back in the UK :)
Far too much Fish, I hate the stuff. The quality of it was amazing im sure but i just cant handle the texture.
I've never eaten so many sweets and cream in my life. These people have an insatiable apatite for it more than any peoples i've known.
So that alone i must have been eating 5k calories in sugar and whippyness. Add another 2k on Fizzy drinks.
If you put a jar of Branston pickle or Piccalilli infront of me now i would happily eat just that for the next few days... Ive had enough sweet stuff now: Thanks Sweden :P
 
Don't know and don't care,it's one day of the year where everything gets chucked out of the window,xmas day is about being with family and eating and drinking anything you want.
 
I probably over did it on Christmas dinner but that was on the veg really so not to bad. Other than that only had a ham sandwich with a couple of gherkins for tea and may be 5 or 6 sweets. Calories ... No idea and I don't care ... I agree with Schizo above that it's the one time of year when that sort of thing should be but to one side.
 
I've had a few thousand calories in drink alone..., including food god knows.... Today I'm eating air & good will to compensate.
