Hi guys,

My friend wants to build a computer. Its needs to have a decent graphics card/s that can support three 1080p monitors and have a decent 7.1 sound card.

The computer will need everything included apart from monitors keyboard mouse. Please include a copy of windows 7. Computer will be used for gaming and video editing (youtube).

The budget is around 1,200. Lower the better though.

Many thanks all!

Makes me mad when i see a decent spec and then its ruined by skimping on a crap case :( or a crap cooler, i understand people cut corners but dont cut corners on cpu cooling or on a decent case.

Must be talking about another thread as both cases in the specs above are perfectly reasonable and certainly not 'crap'. The Matterhorn is also a decent air cooler

I never understand why people insist on spending 20% of the overall build cost on the case alone, getting a nice case will do fine. Hell I still use my Antec 300, that cost me £30 and does EVERYTHING you could ever ask from a case.

As for the cooler, that particular one will do just fine, there isn't always a need to go all out bonkers on a super CPU cooler for that extra 100Mhz.

Guess its personal preference really then, i just like a good solid case with room for expansion in the future, i tend to build with growth in mind though. Just dont rate the Bitfenix cases that highly, i know lots of people love them though. The Antec case is decent i will admit, personally would lob a bit extra towards an Air 540 or another Corsair case, i have to admit i love Corsair cases, their build quality is generally unrivaled.

Ive owned an Antec case and it lasted me for a good few years, and it was a decently made case, built a PC in a Shinobi for a friend and the exact same build in a z9, and i preferred the z9, the Bitfenix softouch was really nice though.
