Full custom watercooling loop, or another two GPUs?

So, given the choice between a full custom loop in a Corsair 540, or a second 290X to sit in my main PC, and a third 280X to sit in my mining PC, which would you choose? Both options come in at around £700 or so.

On one side I'd love to mess about with watercooling again, but on the other, my Silverstone FT02 is a very capable case and the increased power offered by more GPUs and returns on mining are also advantageous. Saying that, not sure I could cope with the noise of two 290X's at 100%. :)

Just wrestled with the same dilemma, must have changed my mind about a hundred times!

I've finally decided to cool my GPU with a custom loop. My thought process is that next gen cards are not too far off, so I'll be looking to upgrade when they are released. A silent pc is my target, and custom loops can look great too.

Oh, should add that this is my first WC loop and I feel more comfortable popping my cherry with a used card that is worth around £150 second hand to sell, as opposed to doing it with a brand new £500 card.

With that case it looks that a custom loop would be tight and a pita. Unless the case is getting swapped i would go for the extra horsepower

..............This case is fine for watercooling. It is really nice once setup and there is a place for everything.

As you know Milano you can only have a 240 in the top and 360 in the front.

Well if I am doing it, I'm going for the Phanteks case. But, I am holding off for now, and buying another 280X for mining. It is returning me decent money right now, and watercooling won't.

Difficult to tell, but in two weeks or so I have over £100. But my rigs have been on and off and I've had internet issue etc.
