780 dual classified hydro copper

Cheers for the input chaps much appreciated :)

Downloaded bios and nv flash etc just having a brew before I pull the trigger, does not help getting the hang of nvflash when your on day 16 of no smoking :(

You'll most likely need nowhere near 1.4v to get a decent clock out of it. As a starting point, set yourself a target of 1.3v and take it from there.

Agreed with Frosty. On my 680 Lightnings, they had a TDP of 300% but they worked best around 180%. Go for 150% and see if it throttles from your set clocks. If it does, add 20% more (170%) and see how that goes. You have plenty of power available but whether you need it or not will tell in time :p

Am taking it slowly upto 1333 on core 1606 in heaven will push it a bit more this afternoon but yeah I think the card is a keeper :)

Its on water for now just 2 x doubles not gone over 40 degrees :)

I bottled out of using the chiller .... was pulling an all nighter when I was building it didn't fancy the fart about drilling holes in worktops at 2am :D

Congrats on the cards.

Going to try this on my classi too as I max out at around 1260mhz core on stock volts. Have used AB and the voltage tool on my other 780s but was hoping the classi came fully unlocked as stock. Mine will be on air fir the moment but may swap out one if the blocks on my other rig to stick to it.

Superb card.

Much improvements have a feeling I am near the limit though, how much play is there in the memory so far I have left it at 3104?

Sick of the sight of windmills :(

Remember to keep a watch on the VRM temps, for some reason known only to Swiftech they decided the classy HC only needed a passive heat sink on the VRM's so you can actually cook them while the GPU temp looks fine.

Good point thank you, so far they have been ok I just cannot make the jump from 1399 to 1411 when I add 5 on the core to make it 305 it does not want to know .... one more try then bed :)
