Hi Guys

Just wondering if you can provide some advice please, will this card run on my system?

Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 500W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - OEM
Samsung Green (MV-3V4G3D/US) 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz 30nm Dual Channel Kit

I know the PSU is perhaps a little underpowered for it, but is it an absolute MUST that I upgrade the PSU before getting the card?

Cheers mate, I've overclocked my CPU but I guess you mean as long as I leave the card at stock?

id say having OC'd the CPU + aftermarket cooler etc makes it a bit iffy, but im not as knowledgeable as some on here

Your PSU should be fine

My overclocked AMD 8350 and stock 280X (which are both power hungry) peaks at 405W from the wall according to my electric meter when playing a demanding game like Battlefield 4 or Crysis.

You should be fine with that wattage, when I had one titan oc'd and 3770K oc'd they only pulled 380W max from wall under full load.
