Due to spending too much over XMAS then deciding I want an Xbox ONE with Forza 3, I am going to sell my 690 gtx.

I am looking to spend around £180 max of £200 for a card. I only play Dayz SA and BF4.

I have seen the MSI 280x which doesn't seem to have any issues at the 1080p I play?

I swear it said only 79 cards remaining...are you telling me that OCUK sold 79 of them between 8pm last night and 10am this morning?
 
7970 was released in January 2012, the 280X is more or less the same card except 2 years later.

Should be priced at £200 anyway, it's only because of this mining craze they are more expensive.
 
Keeping the 690 now. Just bought the xbox. Thank god for owning a business and self entitled xmas dividend's ;)

It was a Today Only deal for Christmas day and Boxing day, it ended 9am this morning.

The website updater actually broke and hung on 73 left, infact all these and more did sell. Over the two day period we sold 262 units of the MSI 280x and had our busiest Christmas day and boxing day ever on record, infact so much so we were busier than a normal business day, hence today our warehouse had over 1000 orders to get shipped out. :)
 
the gpu are slowing down and to many refreshes i would not be surprised as we get something crazy in 2014 with massive performance increases.

as in past few years performance didn't increase so much waits for die shrink and something like 8800gtx back in a day .

I wish my business sold that many units at £200 a pop!

Had to close mine over xmas due to scammers :/

Ah so that explains why they were stuck on 73, I was thinking wth, no one is buying???

Not bad 262 in 2 days, btw 2 will arrive here on monday :D
