********* The Official GTA V (5) thread! *********

Nope, no Aliens, no real point after you have completed the game, slightly annoying but loved the game just no point in going through it again or trying to get 100% (my opinion)

Shame. In previous games doing some of the collectable missions often got you a decent reward. I loved the blood red Taxi with spikes in GTA3 :D

I really hope they do some Gay Tony or Lost and Dammed style add ons, but being a previous generation console, I can just see them abandoning it now :(.

You think? They released GTA V at a pretty terrible time, right when the next gen consoles were coming out yet it still sold insanely well. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some addons for it on PS3/360.

It was 10 months after GTA4 for Lost and Dammed, and 18 months for Gay Tony.

Can you see R* still pushing content to PS3 and 360 in May 2015?

It sold well because its an epic game, on a well established console platform. That doesn't mean it has longevity on that platform.

Plus, I expect DLC for GTA:O is on their radar more.

I'd love to see some GTA:V addons, but I can't see it happening on previous generation consoles.

Edit: You know what I just realised... I never actually played the SP in Gay Tony. I played Lost and Dammed and all the added MP (on PC), but never Gay Tony... I wonder if I can pick it up for cheap on PS3 now I've completed GTA:V SP?

Well, the accountant would say that they sold it at a perfect time as it broke all sales records.

There is no doubt they have both eyes on the next instalment now as they should be, but hopefully they would still release the heists stuff before moving on totally. We are still getting regular updates.

£8 (10% discount if you're PS+) for the GTA4 complete collection on the PS Store in their January Sale now.

Has anyone else come across a graphics problem when it's dark .... Seems to at times dark areas lose their colour and turn a green colour .... Never noticed this issue on my old sony HD 1080i 32" but since I brought a samsung 40" smart HD 1080p I get this issue

Post a photo, your new TV might have too much green and need calibrating or if you've got an Xbox 360 it could be your GPU dying...

edit: or maybe it's just normal for Xbox like anticonscience says.

Took pics the top one has the issue and then took a pic with lights on the same area and it is fine.

Hopefully the pics look ok to see the issue

Are you talking about the "oily" quality to black textures? I read a thread on the rockstar forums about this. I looked it up because it annoyed me (OCD much?) when wearing black suits in the game. The way I improved this was too lower the in game brightness and crank my screen brightness up (using a 24 inch benq G2420HBL monitor). The oily phenomenon is still present but to a lesser degree now. I think it has something to do with rockstar using 32 (or 16 bit) bit colours?

Just picked this up today and I cant get to grips with driving. I am literally all over the place I just can't drive in a straight line. I was looking forward to this game I just hope I can somehow get past the problems I am having with driving cars. Anyone got any ideas to what I can do?
