I would appreciate everyones ideas on whether to use 1/2" or 3/8" tubing in my watercooling loop. The loop consists of the following:

4770K (Raystorm Block)
2 x GTX680 (Razor Blocks)
Maximus VI Formula Crosschill Block
EK XT360 Rad
EK XT240 Rad
Laing D5 pump with XSPC res
The case is a NZXT Phantom 820

I have upgraded from a 2600K and 2 x GTX480s which i used 1/2" tubing for but its a pain to keep from kinking when going round tight bends. Would using 3/8" have a detrimental effect on the loop? I was planning on not watercooling this new setup but have well and truely got the bug (my partner thinks in mad putting water in a pc). Any comments gratefully received!

3/8" (10mm) is only a tiny bit thinner than 7/16" (11mm) which a lot of people use. I've not had any trouble with 7/16" (5/8" OD), certainly no issues with kinks. If you go with 3/8" stick with the 5/8" OD tubing as the 1/2" OD has much thinner walls. (I'd assume it would be more susceptible to kinking)
