Hi guys,

I recycled my Nexus 4 a month ago with mobilephonexchange who claim they don't have a device matching the IEMI number I gave them. It's a pretty long number and quite possible I could have submitted the wrong number!

Now that the phone is gone I don't know how to get the IEMI number....I bought the phone off of ebay last year, so my provider (T-Mobile) said they can't help in retrieving it.

Any I screwed?

You sent it via registered post right? If so, the onus is on them to find it as you have the receipt of delivery.

I would have thought the provider would have the IMEI on file? Aside from your phone number, isn't that one of they few ways they identify you?

Go here :

https://www.google.com/settings/dashboard?hl=en_GB

Sign in and all your device imei numbers are listed :)

Hope this helps

Click android, not manage devices.... manage devices for me says 0 active which they aren't but if you click android it'll come up with all your previously registered android devices.
