What gift, that you weren't expecting, would you most recommend for someone else to purchase?

I didn't really get any proper gifts like toys, gadgets or otherwise gimmicks. Also everything else I got was expected so have no reason to be surprised and recommend it.

As did I, along with a small lego plane to keep me entertained in the meantime. Can't wait till I get to use it later in the year, it's only 30 minutes, so I may upgrade it to an hour. Was totally blown away by it to be honest, wasn't expecting it at all.

USB powered plasma ball, got one for christmas from my brother, love it! Had one in the early 90s which required a lot power to run shocked this thing works off 5v! Cheap, fun and my 3 year old is fascinated by it.
