Get your Wallets Ready - Steam Sale Dates this Winter

Planetary Annihilation is a game I've wanted since the Kickstarter but I don't know how I feel about paying £30 for early access...
Think am going be buying it ...

As it annoyed me when I saw it in the autumn sale and i didn't buy it.Because After the sale finished I was aways thinking "Wish I bought that"

I might get some indie games tonight :D

Super Meat Boy - £2.39
BIT.TRIP RUNNER - £0.69
Really Big Sky - £0.99

Don't think super meat boy will be any cheaper?

Castlevania worth a punt? only thing tempting me from today :)
Castlevania Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition £4.60 at Nuuvem, ends in just over an hour though.
Just got this :D

Seems they extended the offer again
Paid via paypal, got key instantly & activated on steam with no problems

Just have 15GB to download now

Not had chance to play it much but it seems so much better than the PS3 version :D no framerate issues and 1080p etc :D

still £4.60 for another 2hours 42mins

Wouldn't mind L.A.Noire, but I think I'll wait until all the dlc is included for that price. It's not like I've run out of ideas about what to play. :D

Never played either of the Metro games so that's quite tempting.

Both myself and my girlfriend enjoyed Far Cry 3 so I keep looking at Just Cause 2 which is always fairly cheep.

mmmm choices ....?

I bought the Euro truck simulator played it for half an hour. So far seeming like a waste of money dont like it much at all. Grid 2 on the other hand im loving!

Is Castlevania worth a punt?

If you like God of War games definitely...then again it's a good game in it's own right and not many of it's type on the PC anyway.

Very good port runs very well, scenery is some of the best i've seen and music is brilliant.Been playing it about 15h....it's about 25-30h long apparently.

I've never played the God Of War games. But whatever, Castlevania is less than 7 squidaroonies. Squidaroonies which would otherwise be spent on 4, maybe 5 beers. I'll give it a shot.

I know 5 people who play it at the moment and all love it so. :p

To be honest not only what you said but less than £7 for a game that's 20h+ or so long that's good is always a good deal anyway. xD

Been warned it can be fairly hard! also takes 1-2h to get going but gets better and better.(when you get to the music box level you might end up launching your monitor at the wall :D)

This sale is garbage its like Valve have decided to take a step back in time several years :( They should have been more assertive to the publishers IMO :(

I know its all probably down to the greedy publishers not wanting to sell their precious (mainly shovelware quality) games at too low a price but most of the indie games on flash sales were terrible quality wise as the bigger publishers obviously did not want to participate in these

Surely selling your game @ -75-80 % discount to tens of millions of PC gamers is better than 50-66% to a few thousand
