I couldn't get on mate so could well be a problem somewhere.
You make it out like its the crime of the century.
If somebody wants an achievement and wants to cheat to get it, who are we to stop them. Its only themselves they are hurting as they will never get the sense of achievement that comes from doing it properly.
He is after all, doing an achievement for PSN / XBL so hardly ruining others games like the tac insert boosters do.

Active on playstation 4 bf4 on a reasonably regular basis? I thought we'd have more active ocukers than this. Its not that I'm sick of the above guys or anything....
Anyway I'll be celebrating my last day of xmas hols (whilst the wife is at work) if anyone fancies a few games tomorrow

I am regularly on the game, mattywhitt. Put 40 hours into the game now!
It was working by then, I switches my filter to Europe only and it was great, had a couple of fantastic games.

I'm on quite a lot as my wife is studying almost every night. But to be honest my mates are on 90% of the time so when they are on I play with them.
But I'm happy for anyone else to join if you see me on.
I've got a few OCUK people on my list but as I say, I'm always joining my mates party so never join others....but others can join us anytime.
Typically my only night where I'm NEVER on is Sunday due to the NFL being on.

I was only highlighting to Captain Planet what boosting is.
Besides, considering the guy wants to kill with (what appears to be) a high level pistol he is going to boost up to that level with someone.
How exactly will he do that? Sit somewhere waiting for his partner in crime to come along and shoot them lots? That would still be ruining the game for others just like people who do it on CoD.
Lest we forget you can be reported for such things on CoD.

Sometimes even the game has in-built problems with boosting.
Take the assignment for the bombing raid. It's made Silk Road on Conquest a bit of a joke really. Right annoying.
Half the players just try and take that point and nothing else then there is 5-6 people at any time standing next to it.
I want to do the assignment myself but can't be bothered to camp it - I'm too busy playing the game.
90% of games on that map end up with that middle point for 1 team, the rest of the points for the other team. It's pointless.
Not very well thought out that. Now I'll never get it myself unless I do the same, which I can't be bothered to do so missing out on an in-game unlock.
I sent a few friend requests out from this thread due to me sucking badly on this and needing to improve. Haven't played all that much of it since I got it, but now the crashing has been fixed I'll be up for some more regular games.
I don't enjoy BF unless you've got a full squad of people you can talk to and get some organisation going on.

This is my point, the game encourages people to do this stuff by setting this stupid challenges in the assignments.
There was one in battlefield 3 where you needed to get a kill with the EOD repair bot. So many people ruined others games pratting around trying to kill people with EOD bots, it was easier just to boost it and get a friend to let you kill him and get it over and done with.

Yeah It's really daft to put these sorts of things in. Same reason why online trophies/achievements should be scrapped. There shouldn't be any reason or incentive for people to mess up online matches.
As it is, I can ignore the dog tags, and the trophies - but when it includes and actual weapon unlock, or a gadget then what do I do. I either accept that I'll never have it, boost it, or just play online and do nothing but try and unlock it.
I'd rather do neither of those 3 things - and just get it normally.
I LIKE how you unlock things by getting ammo ribbons, capturing points, arming bombs - the things that are required and helpful in an actual game.
The bombing raid one ruins an entire map almost everytime it comes up. Mind you, it gives you plenty easy kills by shooting the plonkers who are just standing next to it for the entire game.
You could say the same thing about get 25 nukes in MW2, does that instantly make it ok for people to boost them so they can complete the challenge?

people driving an EOD bot round in a futile attempt to get a kill with it disrupt the game more than the people who boost it.
Nuke boosting in MW2 was different because it inconvenienced others by ending the game prematurely, Its about the only example where people who boosted something affected others. You also need to remember that the primary reason people do this in COD is to call in killstreaks. Something Battlefield doesn't have.
In battlefield, Usually its only themselves they are cheating. In which case, I say knock yourself out.
If the situation involved say, 4 people in a 10v10 match, sat in a corner boosting, then obviously it is affecting others because it then means that 1 team is going to be 3 people down and that team is going to get hammered because the rest of the team can't play properly. Then I think its wrong.
But if you're not affecting anybody else's games (something Nuke and killstreak camping in COD does) then I'm not bothered.

Which disk is needed for multiplayer with bf4? I only play multiplayer and my dad got it for xmas, He's running disk 2 now so would I be able to use disk 1 for multiplayer? I know bf3 had a multiplayer disk but these just say 1 and 2.
