Didnt know whether i should put this the monitor area but think it defo relates more to the msi 780
Asking this on behalf of my monitor
I have just got Netflix, now when im playing a slow game that doesnt need 100% concentration e.g. Fm2014. i wonder if i can connect up pc to tv for netflix
Then also connect up my monitor to play games

Will this knacker up my pc/graphic card?

Yeah, should be able to just plug it into the HDMI or whatever and extend screen, be able to drag a window over to it and maximise for netflix.

I do a similar thing. My gaming/movie room has a 24" monitor and a 72" projected image (which is both 1080p capable or 3d). When i play a casual controller compatible steam game, i play it from the couch and throw a film onto the monitor or visa versa when i am playing an fps on my keyboard.

TBH i dont even notice an impact on performance compared to when i don't watch on the second screen.
