For me it has to be Bad Santa http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0307987/

It has imo a sheer, end-to-end, side-clutchingly, awesomely quotable and genius script. I have now seen it around 5 or 6 times (last time 4 days ago), and I swear each time it gets funnier.

However, a script isn't a script without perfect delivery and timing, and each of the characters does it perfectly. Added to which, each actor plays their part to perfection in terms of visualisation and mannerisms, which just adds to the hilarity.

I literally, at this moment in time, cannot think of a funnier movie that stands up so well to repeated viewings, and that makes me cackle as wildly to myself each and every time.

So, what's yours? :)

Something like Airplane or The Naked Gun.

Also funny films that I grew up with, but more in an "old skool" way that makes me chuckle quietly to myself or smile inwardly at the gags and spoofs.

Bad Santa with its pretty much non-stop, scene-to-scene razor sharp script of vile filth just seems to set off a chain reaction of hard and sometimes near-incapacitating lol's.

Blazing Saddles or Spaceballs in particular but TBH any of the "spoof" style always get me laughing (Naked Gun, Airplane, Top Secret, Hot Shots etc)

Guest House Paradiso

Or anything starring Leslie Nielsen, even if I do know most of the scripts by heart by now.

Life of Brian.

Can watch it right through, or stick it on for 15 minutes and still come across multiple funny moments.

The Return of the Pink Panther or The Pink Panther Strikes Again. Both can get me crying with laughter. :o

Trading Places must get an honourable mention too.

Life of Brian.

Can watch it right through, or stick it on for 15 minutes and still come across multiple funny moments.

The stoning/Jehovah scene is possibly the funniest thing I've ever watched. :D
