Hi

I feel the need to upgrade my gpu's (sli 460gtx 768mb cards) and just looking for a decent upgrade to keep me moving forward without breaking the bank.

Is it worth grabbing one of these or should I look elsewhere (£200 budget)?

A 7970 in general would be a nice upgrade, due to non existent warranty though my self and many others would strongly advise against buying an xfx branded card.

Length isn't the problem, it's getting xfx to recognise the problem and replace the card that's the hard part.

They've been that troublesome to deal with ocuk have stopped stocking their products.

Only trying to spend £200 as I just spent cash on New cpu. mobo, psu,ssd and ram so right now the PC is becoming a money pit lol

The MSI 280X was on special last week for £220  So i would wait for
one of them to come up again (as they will)

+1 Best option.

There is the 270x, though I don't think it would provide enough of a maximum frame rate improvement in most games to warrant the purchase, so I would hang fire until you see a 280x / 7900 card for around your budget.

I know a lot people say stay way, mainly because there RMA and customer support is meant to be shaky.
But I can say my two 7950's are simply superb :D based on card performance I cant fault them at all.

This is from two hours BF4 on Ultra @120hz
