As long they can get the cash flowing in they happy and they worries about fixing any problems later
Ship the card befoe Christmas so everyone gets their Xmas pressie or delay and fix? I would have been unhappier about a delay over Christmas, considering sky hacked together a fix anyway....

Pretty spot on for my thinking as well. I would rather have the card working on stock, than not have the card because of overclocking problems. And I am more than happy to flash at every available opportunity. I am also happy to flash GPU's :![]()
I agree with getting my cards before Xmas etc and running at stock but surely an official evga fix should have been out by now Or is it a bigger overall problem

.Seems to be a lot of complaints about coil whine too. All 3 of my EVGA ref cards have it but can't hear it with the case panel on. Really surprised how many people send cards back for it, it's a waste of time. Expect better from Classy owners.
Hope you get it fixed bud, it is weird however that it's kicking in with only an additional 60mhz on the core. Have you explained the symptoms to EVGA?
