But seriously, I predict £880.

Why such a low prediction?
Based on Nvidia's previous price gouging i would say anything less than £1k is wishful thinking.

A 780 is £400 ish and a 780Ti is £500 ish and this fits in between the 2 x2, so I pulled a figure I deemed fair.

I would love to see this made and can see this becoming a reality, as nVidia will want to have the fastest single core card and the fastest dual core card. Not my cup of tea but I can certainly see the appeal of a dual chip beast of a card.

You mention a figure and fair with Nvidia in mind. You must be off your head. If it does come with 5gb of ram per core you can bet Nvidia will be pushing it as the most powerful single card for 4k and there will be a price to match. I do agree though on what you think is a fair price.

What the market will bear!

Yea unfortunately if people buy, the prices will get ever higher until customers vote with there wallets. Tbh i have no problem with Nvidia as they are a business looking to get as much profit as possible and if people want to let them charge these prices then so be it. I don't like it as it gives amd a reason to price higher as well and so on. I just hope it stops at some point as high end hardware is starting to price a lot of people out of pc gaming. The mid end are starting to be priced ever higher and if you are not buying mid end or higher then you may as well buy a console as the experience on the pc won't be any better atm. I don't game as much as i used to so certainly won't be saving up for something overpriced that i won't use much.

The good thing about getting older though is for me it's all about the gameplay these days rather than maxing the graphics although i do appreciate a top looking game. Lucky for me my mate still loves to max settings so if i want to experience the full visuals i just go to his with a few drinks and complete a game over a few visits.

What we think is fair is entirely different than what nvidia thinks

I think that NVidia have already decided that just over £800 gives them maximum returns.

Having said that if this card ever sees the light of day and it turns out it is good for mining then the Mantle's the limit.:D

For a Titan the price seemed ok but for the dual gpu not so sure as the titan out sold the gtx690 very easy. I think they should look at the single gpu price and then double it with £50 premium for the benefits a single card holds. Job done really.

Edit I don't think any single Gpu including Titan was worth £800 especially for gaming but for Gpgpu i can see why some would pay so much.

So has this been confirmed yet?

Don't think I could stomach it next month.

:D

Edit: 5GB per core...interesting. Price - £900.

My guesstimate.

It's a little underwhelming apart from the ram if you ask me. A couple of 780ti cores with 6gb per core would have made it pretty special even though the price might not have been. The last Nvidia big core dual card was not so good either in the gtx590. This could be good though as Nvidia this round really brought there power usage down even with there top end huge cores.
