Anyone got any useful tips on how to do this? I previously studied GCSE German (for which I was graced with a fabulous 'D' grade for having not turned up to somethings...) and was looking to learn it again to much better level.

I'm looking to improve all areas (oral, writing and reading). Does anyone have any decent resources/ideas?

Thanks! :)

I've recently been playing with Duolingo having done the same at GCSE German as you.

Seems pretty good so far :).

Just been looking at that app. Looks good, shame they don't have an Arabic version.

I did a search for duolingo and I posted in a different thread but I saw this comment and I just had to post a reply. Duolingo has an 'Incubator' in which new courses can be made, this is obviously a slow process but I wouldn't be surprised if you can learn Farsi or other arabian languages within the next 5 years.
