Flashing is easy really use Nvflash and make sure you have a back up of your original bios
things to change:
Power target (True on 670's don't know about 780s!)
Voltage (If it holds true to kepler the max will be 1.21v might show up as 1.23v in evga/msi)
and thats it really , I wouldn't bother flashing a bios to your card that didn't originally come with your card only use your existing one and modify that
this is the guide for the 600 series cards but it should hold true for the 780 still

I used Nvflash , kepler bios tweaker(KGB) but you might want to check if 780s are compatible and GPU-z to back up my bios
in kepler bios tweaker (KGB) just edit the text file with your desired power target and voltage, you can specify a max boost but I wouldn't bother
then use Nvflash "http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2133/NVFlash_5.118_for_Windows.html
Download that and extract it into a folder, in that folder also make sure you have your modded bios, for reference I will be calling it "X.rom" you can rename it to that to keep this more simple..
Shift+ Right click in the folder and click "open command window in here" then type the following commands in order.
Nvflash --protectoff
Nvflash -4 -5 -6 X.rom
That should be it, reboot and you should be modded."
Can I use a 780 FTWbios on my reference 780(applies to any other question like this, not just reference cards and FTW bios')
A. Of course you can, but there is no point in doing so. Modding your own bios is easy, and is just a better idea.
in my personal experience I have the best results increasing the power target only, but say I have hit a wall at 1287mhz but my OCD makes me want a nice round 1300mhz then typically I would bump the voltage by a jump (refer to KGB text file for legit volts) and hey presto I'm where I want to be.

Edit: Forget most of what I said if you find out KGB doesn't mod 780 bio's and read the guides on here ^ ^ ^ I don't want you to have a bricked card as I'm not entirely sure that KGB works with the 780s.
