Hey Guys,

I thought that I would give you all a heads up here....

I have been having support from GMG for the last 8 months trying to get their Time Capsule to work without any luck.

I have bought a few games needing that capsule and I have not been able to play them.

I get a GC001 error to which they blamed my internet, OS and everything else that they could. I have tried my parents internet, a totally different computer, and Installing a new operating system without any success.

I'm now getting told that its a issue with their program and its basically though that I cannot play any of the games which I have bought!!! :(

Did they admit the fault was with their software in writing? If so I'd be after a refund, or be generating some negative press for them via twitter (ensure you tweet an image of the fault to them along with their admission).

If you bought them legally and they don't work then get them illegally elsewhere until the issue is fixed?

Basically they did yes which was good of them, but still does not help me at all, they said this to me:

HI Stelly,

Unfortunately its not an account based issue but possibly client bugs. As I have no way to replicate the issues you were experiencing I'm afraid I have no immediate available fix for you at the moment.

Again, please accept accept our apologies for any inconvenienced caused and should you have any other queries, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

I have used it before with no problems also seeing as you was or have problems running starbound [other thread ] as well me think u have something else wrong and yes I have used it on window 7 64bit maybe windows needs a reinstall

I have mate, installed windows 7 twice, I'm on Windows 8 now. I think my starbound issue is to do with SLi...

bang a trading standards quote in their too.

yea retailer = not etailer but I doubt trading standards care about the difference.

if you have not been able to play the games then as far as trading standards are concerned the time capsule app is not fit for purpose and you should be refunded.
