I'm going to Belfast on the 25th, and will have the morning and early afternoon free. Is there anything that I must see? Or should I just spend all my time in Whites & The Spainard?

I've got a friend who went and on one day hired a protestant guide to show him around the murals and conflict sites and then a catholic guide the next. He said the conflicting opinions on what happened was fascinating.

On a similar note you can do the same thing with Serbian and Bosnian guides in Sarajevo.

Apart from that the Titanic museum is supposed to be good.

start your day in st georges market you have plenty of choices of ulster frys from many food stands , tho i get a cuban pulled pork sandwich, and a cup of blue mountains coffee from kells, the normally have a good local band playing as well

after that you got
titanic centre good to see in it own right but also a place to go if there a flag protest.

black taxi tour, normally are very good tho some times you will get a **** taxi driver who try to rip u off, take no **** from them

flag protest, it a sat so it may be on. go see a group of people who think it still 1914 not 2014

if it not ****ing rain, just walk round the Cathedral Quarter

That sounds like it would be an amazing thing to do, always wanted to go to Belfast. Thanks

The airport that will take you home :D:D:D:D:D:D

Seriously, the titanic quater is probably worth a look, victoria square is pretty nice for shopping and food (has a nandos and pizza express) The odyssey has a great cinema with leather recliners and great vip access (if you want to spend money) there is also an arcade (like snooker tables and air hockey) and bowling alley aswell as a bar. there may also be a small theme park nearby.

Titanic Quarter supposed to be great, not got there yet though. surrounding scenery is nice aswell. if you want to travel a little go to giants causeway. also not got there yet lol. dont get out much haha

Other than what's already been said, check out the Crumlin jail tour. This was our favourite thing to do, even better than the titanic museum.

If you're heading out of the city to see the giants Causeway then there's a few other nearby things we saw. Ballintoy Harbour (if you're a Game of Thrones fan), the dark hedges in Balleymoney (Game of Thrones again) and the rope bridge in Carrick-a-Rede.
