Bioshock 3 - Infinite

Can get burial at sea for £8.50 at GMG using 25% off code still seems a lot when I paid £7.50 for the whole game 2 months ago.

Wasn't too bad. Even though it was short, it's always fun to explore new content. Bioshock games are like interactive art galleries with guns.

Wish I'd known how to switch back to older weapons though. I basically spent the entire DLC trying to clear rooms full of enemies with no ammo.

Just finished it, alright for just under 2 hours of content.

Can't wait for episode 2 now to see what comes of it.

Did you pay attention to the story at all?

You weren't playing as Booker, the Booker that you played as in Infinite is dead. You play Burial at Sea as a Comstock that came to Rapture to forget

Ah now I get it! lol.

Enjoyed the DLC, was awesome going back to Rapture before everything happened and having a wander round. Might have to start playing Bioshock 1 again :)

Fired up the DLC for the first time today... I'm playing Clash in the Clouds before I move onto the story DLC. Seems like good fun but both sessions I've had on it so far I didn't quite have the time to get to the end of all 15 waves on the first arena and annoyingly it forces you to start again from the beginning if you don't make it through in one continuous go :( Or am I missing something?

Same here, I think you have to start at the beginning again, annoying if you just want say a blue ribbon in wave 14 or 15, like I need for the first one (OPs zeal - any idea what that name means or refers to?). I think they are supposed to be a challenge though. Quite like the archaeological society too, looking forward to finishing it.

Mmm I guess I'll just have to wait until I have a long enough session...

Doubly annoying is the fact that there is no-way to restart a wave if you screw up... Say for example there's a wave in the first one where you have to get kills with machine-guns only for the blue ribbon challenge, and there are flak cannon guys about... I was doing fine but then I guess one of the flak cannon bullets killed one of the guys; failing the challenge for me. I hit "Restart Checkpoint" thinking it would take me back to the start of that wave but nope! Back to the first wave I go...

Yeah I know but you only have to get the blue ribbon once so you can do it all the other times however you want, can be great fun experimenting with the vigors plus you can keep upgrading your vigors and weapons.

It was fairly hard for me at the start but now I can blast my way through most of the waves (once I've done the convoluted blue ribbon challenge) and the vigors offer so many different possibilities. You can be incredibly powerful when you play around with the right vigors for each enemy.

can someone help me. I've had the game crash twice at the same point now. I'm in the Finkton elevator going down with Elizabeth and it just freezes and the game stops working/crashes. Verified the game in steam and still doesn't seem to fix it.

This is where I get the crash.

Edit* A second verify seems to have worked and it says a file failed and is redownloading. Hope this solves it when I play it again :x

I recently put together a new PC, so figured I should get a recent-ish game that my old one wouldn't have coped that well with and ended up with Bioshock Infinite.
I went for that as I enjoyed the Mass Effect series (apart from the ending :p) and this seemed like a good story driven FPS in a similar vein.

I'm liking it so far anyway, have played a few hours today and I'm up to the point where
Elizabeth has just opened the tear to the parallel world and we've gone through to see what's different there
Hoping that it keeps on similar form for the rest of the game.

Burial at Sea Episode 2 releases next week! Can't wait! Ken Levine has already said that it will be around 5-6 hours long which makes me very happy compared to the short length of Episode 1 albeit still being awesome. It's also stated that this should conclude the story of Bioshock Infinite, Burial at Sea and answer some questions that the player was left with in Bioshock 1.

Aye its released the same time as RoS - nothing for ages and then I'm double booked lol ordered a hard copy of RoS and it's being sent via snail mail, so I'l most likley use that time to play bioshock, looking foward to the 2nd but of dlc :-)
