Vodafone.... incapable

Cannot say I've ever had an issue with Vodafone. I've only ever spoken to British call centres and that includes support calls - maybe I just lucked out?
The support requests have been dealt with nice and quickly. Not had any billing issues etc.
Sure Signal devices are excellent.....
But as always, only those with issues tend to be vocal.

People who have contracts with Vodafone and moan, CLEARLY had never done business with Three (3) and their indian call centers....

You do not know what pain is... You weren't there man...

On the contrary.

Vodafone - a lying, incapable bunch of morons that do not know their behind from their elbow. They might have been British on the phone but that doesn't make up for their DILIGAF attitude.

Three - actually quite surprising at how well they dealt with my call. The guy was Scottish not Indian.

I deal with Vodafone frequently at work, we have their One Net system + mobiles.

Appalling is the term i'd use for their service, products and web application design and functionality.

Do you have access to their 'My Vodafone' site? If you do and don't mind a headache or aneurysm then you should be able to get the info there.

My Vodafone: https://www.vodafone.co.uk/myvodafone/faces/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/pagehierarchy/Page1.jspx

Yes, but the site is not working at the moment.

They're all the same really, my experiences with Vodafone, Orange and 3 have all been pretty crap.

I suggest in future you plan ahead and don't rely on them to help you out on the day you need to submit your expenses. :)

You are indeed correct my friend. Hind sight is a good thing really. Doesn't detract from Vodafone being rather terrible though

I had the displeasure of calling up to cancel a cheap SIM only monthly rolling contract and bloody hell what a mission it was- they tried to sell me a new contraxct, a home signal booster thing a new phone etc to provide a 'resolution' and then demanded to know what phone network and handset I was going for to see if they could offer me anything. When he worked out he couldnt better my new contract he finally passed me over to a cancellation guy... Who went over the same thing again. 40 ******* minutes on the phone and it only took them 3 minutes to do the cancelling part!

That's my point though, don't rely on a multi national company to bail you out.

They can't even run a mobile phone company very well, let alone be able to sort out easy problems for paying customers.

They sold me an upgrade to iPhone 5 on release as a 4G ready phone, they failed to tell me that their restricted network will never allow my phone to connect to 4G as they put them all on the wrong bandwidth.

In short don't trust the ****s.

try taking orange up on their offer to take over your phone line from bt and watch yourself get charged twice a month for the same service for 14 months.

laugh a minute sorting that ****e out.

I am leaving Vodafone when my contract is up in the next few months. Their reception in the city is truly shocking during office hours, and they are in denial about it.

Right now i'm with Vodafone but my new 3 sim should be here very soon. Well today or tommorow.

2 stories.

Couple of weeks ago they offered my Dad (On contract with them) a tablet that cost X each month and was exclusive to him as a long term customer. I went on the website whilst over hearing the call. Same offer was on their site. I quickly told him before he hung up so he could shot more fire at the Indian who phoned up at 7pm. The guy on the phone just said yeaaaaahh but this is different. It includes an extra 50mb of data...

The other one was when I had issues with my phone/sim.

I couldn't receive any calls but could make them fine. So I contacted support online to get it sorted. Gave him my number...so what did he do. Try phoning up to speak in person so he could help.. Surprise surprise it didn't work because that was my issue. He then told me I need to answer my phone to get help. I ended up getting so annoyed with being treated like a brick that I just closed the live chat. Luckily a few hours later it just started working again. :)

most phone companies seem to have facebook support groups as well.

I'm with orange and wanted to know some pin or some rubbish and just sent them a message via facebook and saved my self the horrible call centre where you are almost guaranteed to get someone trying to pressure you into buying something..

my ex had 3 contracts with three and wanted to cancel 2 of them it took her about half an hour before they finally did after trying to offer her stupid "deals"
