Loving my BPL team (cheapish)

Cech

Richards, Cahill, Vidic, Enrique

Tiote, Young, Lennon, De Brun

Benteke, Saldado

Benteke is a BEAST! I recommend him on any console!

How do you guys get enough money to buy Ibra or Ronaldo? Or just have to be lucky getting a card? Ive opened so many packs this year and last and never got anyone better than Walcott.

Yea but that is the price I would be happy paying for the cards. Ronaldo for 1m and the other two for 500k. Would probably stretch to 3m though.

Ronaldo for a mill? You'll be lucky :p.

He was 1.6m at the death in FIFA 13 :(.

I do want to try Bale at CM as well though. He's got decent defensive stats. Good work rates for the role I want him to do. Only down side is 3* weak foot. I can't believe they took his 4* away.

Serie A is strong but I find it a very boring / soulless league tbh, maybe that's just because I have no interest in Italian football though.

I love Serie A, there are a lot of fun players in it - Pirlo, Vidal, Diamanti, Hamsik, Palacio and Vucinic are awesome.

I'm really toying with the idea of selling up my BPL team, recon I've got about 3 mil of coins there even with the drop and maybe buying Ronaldo and having some kind of Ronaldo/Ibra combo.

Ive also been tempted to sell up all my teams but i reckon id probably have about 1million after it all so pointless really.. and after seeing the players prices drop id doubt i even have that, the main player i want is Ibra.

I've also been trying to brush up my skill moves, seems a must for division 1/2 ive been using the "body feint" for a while now with much success. The main problem i have is getting the angles correct on the pitch for the skills and remembering them at the time i'd need them.

Is that the flick right stick left or right (facing) and then holding left stick in the direction of your exit? Works well that one. You can chain them together in 2's and 3's. lol

It's only a 2* move as well. Best skill is the reverse elastico. Does some very strange things to defenders. And more amusingly keepers. If you want to see something funny and you're comfortably winning when you're running in on goal 1v1 with the keeper pop a reverse elastico just before then keeper gets to your feet. Then walk the ball into the net and enjoy.

reverse elastico. .

Is that the flick the stick back then left or right?

When you guys dribble do you hold l1 or l2 or anything or just let go of sprint? I still think I'm sprinting far far far too much.

For my SA team I've got Tevez and Balo as ST, Di Natale as CAM. No clue who to get next, was thinking maybe El Sh LW and De Rossi as CDM other than that no clue!

Yeah reverse elastico is back then left/right. It's a 5* move.

You need L2 held for some of the skills moves other than that take your finger off R2 and right stick only. L1 is precision dribbling.

That goal I scored with Pedro against you was a nice combo was something like heel chop (L2 + O then X) followed by a Berba spin (forward then left/right with a 4* skiller) followed by a heel chop back outside again, turn inside and heel to heel (forward then back) and then the finish :).

Got that recorded on my PC I think.

The best way to skill is not pre-determine what you're going to use. Try to be reactive with them based on yours and your players position.

I'm not an amazing skiller just use the same 7 or 8 I'm comfortable with.

Cool, that's one of the ones I'm trying to learn but I always mess it up and end up trying to flick the ball over my head :(

If you had to learn 2 skill moves to perfect what would they be?

Upload the video, wanna see :D

Heel to heel and McGeady.

Scoop turn shouldn't count as a skill move but it does but that is just square then X

I said circle but that's because I have my lob pass and shoot reversed so it would be square for you probably.

You know I used to play like that, swear it was the original fifa controls with square being shoot, I don't know why I started playing the default way now :(

Hate the fact the arena is that weird view, I want it tele so I can get used to skilling :(

You mentioned TOTY being done in phases? How quickly are these done? Is it weekly? Do they normally start with Keepers etc? Might do a 100 pack opening or something on the day.

A simple roulette can work wonders, too, especially if you're winning and someone ust keeps charging at you, especially when you do it with a big clumsy oaf like Fellaini :D

Went on some insane skill dribble with Dembele last night, every game I just realise how much more amazing he is!

Going to do a few budget cuts on the BPL team tonight, Willian will have to leave for now, he'll probably be about 10k mid next week, may as well cash in!

Scoop turn is super effective but so in consistent. Yes I was on about the 2* flick right and then left with the running stick to exit. On the edge of the box it works a dream to cut in and finish. I don't have many 4*+ skillers in my teams I don't think so it's pretty difficult. The McGeady spin was my favourite on 13 not used it much this time around though.

Running scoop turn seem to be a real pain to do with the xbone controller, not sure why, but I need Ibra back in my life soon for some close control & mental strength, but I still fancy Crespo & Messi as a pairing :(
