Vodafone.... incapable

9 more months and I'll be leaving Vodafone also. I'm so sick and tired of their joke of a service in Stoke. Months of unconnectable phone calls and text messages getting delayed by hours. Signal level plummeting in areas that used to be great (including my own house) and having them say nothing has changed. Getting no service pretty much every time you enter a building that isn't as thin as a garden shed, while everyone around you on other providers are still functioning normally.

My bill also seems to be constantly increasing to make sure I get the same level of service I had on my previous contract.

13 years of loyalty and I'm done. I'm now going to move from provider to provider each time my contract is up as new customers are the only people who are valued anymore.

One positive note is that everyone I've ever dealt with via their forum or email for help has been based just down the road and one even drove through my area to confirm an issue I was having.

I work for Three in the Glasgow office, but prior to having my staff account I had a standard consumer one. I can honestly say that I had no problems the few times I had to call to the Contact Centre.

When it comes to cancelling your contract: Retention is a big drive in the industry at the moment, so no matter if you are with Three, EE, O2 or Vodafone you will always have a lot of dialogue to go through, they will always do their utmost to try and keep you. Yes, it is rather annoying, but customer churn is a main KPI for all the major telco's.

Because you're a very naughty boy.

There goes my coffee again.

A friend of mine has Vodafone, and while he rarely drops signal, it's always on 2G. Last night, he had to tether to my phone to even load some basic text, whilst I had almost full signal on Three.

For leaving, o2 gave me an offer that 'matched' Three - yet didn't - then seemed not too fussed that I left. Easier for me I suppose! :P

I know how your friends feels. Where I'm currently sat I have a relatively strong 2G connection but with unusable internet. 2 years ago at this same location I had a very strong 3G connection and HSPA+ internet. Vodafone says nothing in there network has changed. My ****!

Tell him to get out when he can. Things never get any better.

Rolling out a 4G service when most of the time you're stuck on 2G even outdoors in city centres.

Well I doing my expenses for work today, I need to submit a copy of my latest bill today and the vodafone site is down.

I have called Vodafone asking if they can email me a copy of the bill, they said that they cannot as they do have the facility to do this! They can however post me a bill out which they say willl take 2 days to process and 2-3 days to deliver!

Why can these companies not do a simple task like send an email.

I've had emailed bills from Vodafone on my corporate phone, admittedly I have to request it each month, but they turn it around pretty quickly.
