Anything preventing you from getting a real job? Working from home is not really a viable option any more unless you have in demand skills such as programming. even then its not just from home.
Haha, my wife works freelance from home doing translations. She's making quite a bit of money off of it as well. Her whole business is just her and a laptop.
As long as you have a very much in-demand high-level skill, good self-discipline and work ethics it can work out well.
There's a whole industry of "working from home" roles within the online gambling industry, mainly with bingo but slots/casino as well.
These companies employee "hosts" or "Chat Moderators (CM's) to work on their sites. These CM's are paid to sit in rooms, chat to people online, run chat games, give away prizes etc and enforce the chat rules.
Some of these sites pay in free tickets to the site, others pay upwards of £19k a year + benefits, share plans, free summer/winter works parties and allowances for use of home internet etc.
It's an unskilled job, if you can type and have a good interesting personality you can do it.
How do I know? I manage these people as my daily job for one of the biggest in the country and several smaller sites.
Just go and have a google, see what is out there and apply
Unfortunately I think that if there was a way to make money from home, most students would be doing it. Typically, students are unqualified in other areas and or not experienced enough in their current field of study, so their skills are not called upon at that point in their career.
