Anyone have a recommendation for a beer shop online - I'm in the middle of nowhere so don't have access to a decent supply...
Have found "beerhawk" which looks ok but interested for other recommends :D

brilliant, cheers folks!
that one in callander I will probably be driving past so might just nip in there!

That one is attached to an Inn called the "Lade Inn"

It's well worth popping in for a bar lunch there as well if you've got the time as the food is outstanding :D

Beersofeurope is the best one, delivery is always expensive on beer but that's the way it goes. That one near Callander is pretty good for Scottish ales but isn't wonderfully stocked for other stuff. Nice part of the World though.

Beer Ritz
Ales By Mail

Are the two I use most. Also used Brewdog and Beers of Europe every now and then.

Can't fault any of them on delivery. Pretty much next day in most instances.

I'm not a huge fan of Beers of Europe - mostly because their stock levels seem to be quite cack and the site is seemingly geared towards taunting you with lots of delicious-looking IPAs that you cannot order.

The last order we placed with them still yielded some very nice beers however.

Yeah I've found them to be pretty disappointing this year. Other sites have took over for me but still keep an eye every now and then. Also their British selection is pretty poor (No Kernel, Partizan, Beavertown list goes on.)

I ended up using beerhawk in the end, got some of the mixed cases - a trappist one, ipa one and then the "big beery box" - some of them really are lovely, but the problem is once you tank a few of the trappist ales you need to remember to switch back to cooking beer or you're just wasting it!!

there was a few st peters ales - not to my (or anyone elses) tastes so far!

I've used Ales by Mail. Can't fault their selection or speed of delivery. The problem is that delivery is always so expensive.

I usually just stick to what's available in my local Waitrose.

Howdy

Does anyone have any further recommendations? I've had a bottle of Lagunitas IPA recently that was amazing (from a Harvey Nicks pop-up that has since gone), and none of the previous recommendations sell it. Would love to be able to get hold of some more!

My local has that on tap. Nice stuff but very strong. :)
