Mercedes CLS talk to me

Don't get me wrong, I like the CLS, looks awesome, not fussed on that Interior though, would have expected better from a Merc, but thinking from a cost point of view, that's why I think 335i is a good idea.

Though I agree its hard to tell the difference, me thinking i'm following an M sport 335i coupe, turns out the badge on the back said 320d :( and they're quite common....sound awesome though, but not V8 Awesome :D

My dads got a CL55. They can all be pretty horrible to maintain, I wouldn't want one for less than three grand...looks quite nasty.

Jesus, it seems that recently there have been numerous CL55 AMG's sell for around £4500-£5000. They seem to be around 2003/2004.. I know the running costs are very high after seeing my friend maintain a fleet of new Mercedes for a executive taxi/limo place. still an awesome amount of car for the money though

They must be the N/A version. Still quite a swift car, though not in the realms of the SC version. Still has the ability to consume your wallet naturally. A new set of tyres will be a quarter of the cars value. Add to that any problems which come up with its electronic dampers, and the fact they are heavy on their bushes, balljoints etc.

CL55 is an S-Class that's been chopped down a bit.

As a result, they have W220 running costs - certainly not for the faint hearted, although they are exceptional cars (and miles better than a CLS inside, too).

S Class petrols are around 12k now? W221. Only a few, and a bit miley, but still. Worthwhile considering?

Nath - i'm still planning on popping in to OCUK at some point this aft in my CLS - who do I ask for at the desk?

so ramirez came down to ocuk earlier and let me havea quick look & listen of his CLS 55 AMG

Sounds sweet :D

Looks alright too ;)
