Cherry Unveils next generation Switches

The new switches are pretty much the same as the old ones (in actuation force, what each switch colour stands for, etc.), except they now come with an RGB LED in each switch.

Yes, 16.7 Million colours brightly - and evenly - lighting each key. Finally

But! At first, only Corsair will be putting them into their keyboards, and those should start appearing at the front half of next year with the rest possibly by the end of 2014, maybe later.

I know, seeing this on Logitech's G19 made me very interested in it, but there was no way i'd spend that sort of money on non-mechanical. Really can't wait to see what Corsair brings with these :cool:

Meh, I literally got my QPAD MK-85 yesterday! Oh well, if this ever breaks or if I feel like something different then I know what I'm going for. They look awesome!

I've been waiting for something like this for a while.

No doubt the price will be high, but if they release I tenkeyless with RGB MX Red's I will be all over that.

Corsair have a 1 year exclusivity deal with Cherry for the new RGB keys apparently.

So no Roccat Ryos Pro FX any time soon
