Advice: R9 270X or Asus Radeon HD 7870

My build currently stands as:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM
Motherboard: Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
Case: Aerocool Xpredator X1 Midi Tower Case - White/Black
RAM: TeamGroup Vulcan ORANGE 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit
CPU Cooler: Alpenföhn Matterhorn Pure Edition CPU Cooler
Memory: Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD
Power Supply: SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black

I am currently torn between getting either:
Asus Radeon R9 270X DirectCUII TOP 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
OR
Asus Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition 2GB Video Card

I know they are similar, but would you recommend a specific one? Which would be better for my build? Or is it a matter of which ever one is cheaper?
Or would you recommend a new graphics card entirely?

The 270X hands down, their basically the same card renamed, except the 270X has a faster GPU clock, a much faster memory clock, and a newer cooler design. It's just about better in every way possible, I would only consider the 7870 if it was £15 cheaper or more.

Thanks a lot, I went with the 270X, found it for only £11 more than the 7870 PLUS it came with a free Battlefield 4 game! So win-win I believe. Thanks for the help!
