The 2011 socket build is interesting but won't the 780 ti's custom fan assembly dump the heat into the case, compared to reference designs?

Fortunately the case has great airflow front to back as the disk drive racks and PSU are in a separate compartment.

Easier to check out YouTube vids of the case rather than trying to explain via text:)

Hmm interesting. I'll have a look. Currently deciding whether I should do it myself or go with a ocuk built system instead, which 5UB has species out for me. Decisions decisions...

Little update.

Decided to give one of the new infinity range systems a go and ordered a tesseract with dual r290x cards. The CPU and both gpu's are watercooled so it should keep those cards happy temp wise and the noise should be very low indeed.

Opted for a benq 144hz flicker free monitor for games as it'll provide me the best experience on fps, which is my primary game type. Sadly the watercooling parts are on order so even though I ordered it on Monday, looks like I might be waiting a while :(
I'll do a review of it when it arrives!

Just curious to see if you could get a 30" monitor in at this price level, and you can! SSD took a hit in capacity but just in budget. Guessing you've already picked by now - not read the whole thread yet so as much for my own curiosity as anything else.

Edit: Keyboard+Mouse didn't make the cut.

Not a bad spec that. I had a play with a 1440p dell monitor at a friends house and noticed a slight input lag in games. Never had that on my old 144hz benq monitor so thought I'd stick with what I know works lol.
